JUBILEE

With lots of wonderful events taking place across the land to celebrate The Queens Platinum Jubilee it’s going to be a busy fun time for all. From village street parties, afternoon tea events, quizzes, bands and lighting of beacons you may need to make a pit stop to refuel with some lunch, cream tea, dinner, a refreshing beer or a cheeky cocktail. Here at The Mount Pleasant Inn we are here to accommodate you as always.

Our opening times over the Jubilee are as normal, these times can be found on our hours page. On Thursday 2nd June, we are open from 10.30am and will be serving a royal breakfast to get your day started. Food will be served as normal with the addition of royal specials, and bookings taken all day till 8pm. On Thursday we will also be serving a Queens Cream Tea, with a free glass of Prosecco🍾👑

Our specials are as follows. We will also have a celebratory Real Ale from halons called Crown & Glory and fun cocktails added to our drinks menu .

Platinum Jubilee Specials

Breakfast served on Thursday 2nd June from 10.30am. ROYAL BREAKFAST eggs, tomato, bacon, mushroom, sausages, beans, hash brown, toast served with tea or coffee £12

Cream tea served on Thursday 2nd June from 2 till 5. QUEENS CREAM TEA plain scones, clotted cream & jam served with tea or coffee and a glass of Prosecco (125ml glass) £7 per person

Cocktails served over the Jubilee. Our own version of the JUBILEE GINTINI and the PURPLE REIGN. You can also enjoy other cocktails, pitchers of PIMMS or try out the jubilee real ale.
