To avoid disappointment, we recommend that you book a table for food at all times.
For all general enquiries please email info@themountpleasantinn.com PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT IF YOU DO NOT GET A RESPONSE IT MEANS THAT WE ARE NOT ABLE TO CHECK OUR IN BOX AS WE ARE BUSY IN THE PUB. You can call direct on 01884 860271 🙂
At A Glance…… entry to the pub is to be made via the main front door or the VERY LOW back DOOR . We ask you to still use hand sanitises on arrival and regularly during your visit. Please be mind full of social distancing still towards other customer, as some still feel happy with a bit of space. Please be aware of our walk way throughout the pub and refrain from standing in the way of our staff trying to serve food.
On arrival we will seat you to your booked table. Table service will still be provided but you can approach the bar. There will still be areas that we ask you not to stand in, this is to ensure that we have adequate space to move through the bar area with food and drinks, so please do not be offended if we ask you to move to a better spot or to take a seat. Any persons disrespecting any member of staff, other customers or refusing to respect and carry out our policies will be refused service.

BIG BIT ABOUT DOGS …. we do allow dogs in but they must be kept on a lead at all times in all areas of the pub including the outside spaces. They need to be other dogs friendly and people friendly. If your dog does not like cats, DO NOT BRING ONTO THE GARDEN, we have cats that own the back garden ! Please be respectful for other customers, not everyone is a fan of dogs especially if they are eating. Areas inside that we book for with dogs is limited. If you turn up and have NOT booked a table inside with dog space this could cause problems !!! So don’t forget to say. Also please don’t bring a whole pack….WE ARE A SMALL PUB WITH LIMITED FLOOR SPACE ! …oh and just to add one more request…the garden is not a dog toilet! PLEASE Take them for a walk in the country lanes & be respectful of our village when doing so. You may think this is a lot if you want to bring dogs, but so many of us have dogs nowadays and we have to have rules otherwise we get over run with more dogs than people 😳🤣 Thank you
The Garden and outside spaces…. we have seating at the front of the pub and also a beautifully kept beer garden. To avoid disappointment, we feel that we need to make you aware that these spaces are not a suitable children’s play park. For safety, Unattended children are not permitted in any outside spaces. The beer garden is next to our carpark and is set as a formal garden and the front is on the main road side of the pub. When the weather is bad the back garden will be closed.
