When booking a table we will ask for a contact number, if you are bringing any dogs or if any one in your party has any dietary requirements. If you don’t get asked these questions please feel free to inform us of any requirements you need. Also if it is a special occasion, let us know as we love to decorate! For large tables we require a pre order or you will be required to have our set menu, but when booking your table we will give the relevant information for this. We take bookings in the Forge, Bay window & the Sung. We don’t reserve tables in the main bar or garden.
We accept Credit Cards & Debit Cards . We do Not accept payment by cheque.
BIT ABOUT DOGS …..We only allow well behaved, cat friendly, kid friendly, other dog friendly dogs, and ask them to be kept on leads at all times, even in the outside area and garden during the warmer months where we have cats lounging around in the garden and seats in the car park. Please also have respect for other customers who may not like dogs and keep them close to you table and not in the way of our busy staff walking by with plates of hot food.
If you are booking a table and have a dog please inform us when booking as the forge area is completely dog free and we will reserve your table in area where dogs are allowed. If your dog is not a happy one, hates cats and has barking tendencies, bad with children then please don’t bring them as this can cause discomfort to other customers and other dogs……..and our cats!
You may read this about bringing your dog and think bit OTT, but as we are a pub that allows dogs and the amount of dogs around, nowadays we have to have rules 🙂
And the bit about WIFI……..we have WIFI but we are in a poor service area and our WIFI can be slow ! So if you can’t get on it whilst visiting its just how it is at the moment in Rural Mid Devon in a small hamlet called Nomansland ! good luck 🙂
For pictures and just stuff have a look at instagram and Facebook!

Please note that all vehicles parked on the premises are done at their owners risk as are belongings left in them. Please do not use the carpark out of opening hours as mentioned this is also our home and out of hours time …private.
And finally …. entering the building at the back of the pub is very low so if you feel you can not duck low enough as not to cause injury to yourself we advise that you enter the pub via the front door. You have been warned and there are reminders when you arrive and leave.
…..oh and yes, I know I can’t spell 🙂
