🤗🙏Please carry on being covid safe, and carry on respecting all the measures put in place at the pub, so we can all get out of this world crisis soon🤗🙏

All contact on the days and times we are closed can be made via  phone 01884 860271 or Email

For detailed information PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION ON THIS SITE about COVID-19 and how the pub has changed and what we have done to be COVID safe.

At A Glance…… all customers must check in via the NHS app by scanning the code displayed at the pub, which will be at the front door or cards placed on your table. If you do not have the ability to do this you must still give your contact details in person. Any person refusing to do this means that by law we must refuse entry. On gatherings, the rule of Six or Two houses holds still applies. So please make sure you respect others and keep practicing social distancing. Any groups gathering above this rule will be asked to separate to ensure we are compliant to the law.   You will need to be seated at all times and table service will be provided. On arrival we will seat you to your booked table or if not booked any available table we may have. No ‘standing’ drinking will be available.  So if the tables are all full we will be unable to accommodate you. Please don’t bring your empty glasses in, we will collect them.  Face coverings must be worn, on arrival and departure, if you are entering the pub from outside for the use of toilets and if you leave your table indoors for any reason you will need to put on your mask. You must use hand sanitises on arrival, during your visit and before entering to use of WC. All entry to the pub is to be made at the main front door.

Please be aware we reserve the right to refuse entry and also to close with out notice.

Other stuff…..The Mount Pleasant inn is situated on the crossroad  in the centre of the village of Nomansland on the B31371 Tiverton to South Molton road.

If you come from the North Devon link road take the turning signed Templeton and when you come off link road take the right at the t junction then left following the Nomansland sign. (watch out for pot holes on small lanes, GENERALLY INDICATED BY RIBBONS IN TREES )

The day and times we are closed no entry or access to the pub. No cars are to be left on the premises over night.

We accept Credit Cards & Debit Cards and Cash . We do Not accept payment by cheque or american express.

BIT ABOUT DOGS  ….  we do allow dogs in but they must be kept on a lead at all times in all areas of the pub including outside, be cat and other dogs friendly (if your dog does not like cats, DO NOT BRING ONTO THE GARDEN. Please be respectful for other customers, not everyone is a fan of dogs especially if they are eating. Areas inside that we book for with dogs is limited. If you turn up and have NOT booked a table inside with dog space this could cause problems !!! So don’t forget to say.  Also please don’t bring a whole pack….we are a small pub with difficult times in regard to inside floor space, outside space and social distancing . …oh and just to add one more request…the garden is not a dog toilet ! Take them for a walk! You may think this is a lot  if you want to bring dogs, but so many of us have dogs nowadays and we have to have rules otherwise we get over run !! Thank you

The Garden and outside spaces…. we have seating at the front of the pub and also a posh beer garden ! To avoid disappointment, we feel that we need to make you aware that these spaces are not a suitable children’s play park. For safety, Unattended children are not permitted in any outside spaces. The beer garden is set as a formal garden and the front is on the main road side of the pub. When outside spaces are open it is table service only.
